A graduate of Lipscomb University, Dr. Young received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He trained in Ophthalmology through Texas A&M at Scott & White Hospital, and then joined Summit Eye Associates in 2007. Dr. Young provides comprehensive ophthalmology and specializes in Advanced Cataract Surgery. In addition to medical treatment for Glaucoma, he also provides surgical Glaucoma care with MIGS and SLT laser. Dr. Young also leads Summit Aesthetics where he offers Botox® injections for facial rejuvenation.

Time outside of work is spent with his family. He enjoys traveling and the outdoors, especially mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and scuba diving. In addition to serving at his church, he has participated in international medical mission trips.
